Deeper is a student community at the heart of Phili as the name suggest we are all about depth! We aren’t satisfied with superficial and want to live lives that are seeking to live, Deeper, Wider and Higher.

 

 Our vision is to live life Deeper, Wider, Higher.

·         Deeper: In our relationships with each other, living in authentic, loving, challenging relationships that seek the best for on another. As a student community at the centre we want students to be at the heart of church and be well connected to the wider church family. 1 Peter 4.8-9

 

·         Wider: Loving our mates, Sheffield and the world and sharing Jesus with them. We are a community that cares about the world around them. We regularly do Besom projects to serve the poor in Sheffield and in the summer have community mission trips to serve the poor in other nations. Deut 15: 11, 1 Peter 3.15

 

·         Higher: Building firm foundations for a life long relationship with Jesus. We want to be people that have depth in relationship with God, knowing that there is always more for us to know and experience of him. Matt 7: 24

 

We hang out either as a whole group or in smaller groups. We have loads of fun when we do both. There’s always food involved, plenty of banta and good times to be had.
